Today's assignment was to find Polyester/Spandex material for me to make a long cumfy dress [for ME]. It's the pitts for PLUS size women, there isn't ever anything with any style for us to wear... well, seldom...
A quick stop at Elvera Street for a long yummy lunch, just me and Pop. Of course I had to walk around and take photos of the collectibles [junk].
... or should I say these?
And then a little something that reminded me of Nashville... awe, aren't they cute?
Arriving to my home of origin, a beautiful pink bouquet of roses from my parents... so sweet. They were already drooping... of course Mom and I are discussing taking them back to the store. I created some pictures of the two that still looked pretty from the bunch [before either Mom or me returned them for the hard earned retirement monies they spent]. What a shame, I don't understand why they drooped in the same day?
On September 11th 2004 we honored all the fallen soldiers of the Iraque Freedom Conflict... there were so many. A flag was placed in honor of each of these fallen Americans. This photograph is one of what I saw that day before all the flags were placed on the field at the Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tennessee - a place not far from the sacred grounds of the Battle of Franklin.
Sometimes hard work pays off...
If you were unable to see the show "live" during the opening, here is a sneak peek! It really should be viewed "in person" for the full affect of a 26 x 16' wall of space.
