Untitled Art Show
Friday the 13th!
Usually a very good day for me... let's see what happens!
So we went to the Untitled show to see the other works and hoped that my piece would sell... the show was over at 10PM, so we grabbed the art off the wall right at 10:00. I received a call the next day from another artist; she said that someone had walked up to the sales table and wanted to buy my piece, but I was already gone with it...
Why did they wait so long???? The people/person who wanted to buy my piece was given my phone number etc., but unfortunately - I never received a call about it. Bummer.

I Am My Own Wife
Tonight I went to see the play "I Am My Own Wife" starring a good friend of mine, Mark Cabus; a true story based on Charlotte von Mahlsdorf’s. Mark is an unbelievably talented actor that I met while working on a movie (1994) with Ann-Margret, George Segal, and Brenda Vacarro.
After the play I spent about 30 minutes with Mark taking pictures for the "Naked Stages " archives. Here are a couple of them...

Michael Martin Murphey
On a recent shoot, I had the great fortune to meet and photograph Michael Martin Murphey... the song I know best by him is "Wildfire." I seem to remember it from the seventies driving in my Metropolitan or my Mustang...listening to the radio; there's a visual for you...
MMM is a very humble man, a bit shy... this shot was taken while he was listening to Ralph Emery (white shoulder in the shot) talk about their experience together on television in years gone by... When shooting on set for a reality show... I get the left overs... but some times the leftovers are pretty nice, I think I captured a moment of admiration here.

Unbelievable Image Capture
This photo by Jose Fidelino Vera Hernandez, via the Associated Press, shows a car hitting a group of bicyclists about 15 minutes into a bicycle race Sunday in northern Mexico.
AP says one person was killed and 14 others were injured in the incident.
Here's what happened during Bike Tour Matamoros-Playa Bagdad, according to The Brownsville Herald:
The accident happened at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, just 15 minutes and seven miles into the race, after the cyclists began their ride to Playa Bagdad, Reforma reported. ... The cyclists allegedly were struck by Juan Campos, 29, who drove a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis. Lopez was driving drunk and under the influence of drugs, Matamoros newspapers reported in their Monday editions.

John Rich of "Big & Rich" warms up the crowd with some awesome music! Love his outfit!
A semi-private moment as John McCain prepares for his entrance to the town hall meeting at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN.First thing I would like to say about John McCain is that "I didn't know the guy was so funny!" He has incredible comedic timing - and his jokes are GREAT! I have quite a few good shots from todays assignment. Here are some more...
